Part-Time Housekeeper Tunbridge, Vermont

Our client is a self-employed couple residing in a relaxed and inviting home located in Tunbridge, VT 05077. They are dedicated to their family, business, and maintaining a peaceful and organized household environment. They are seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeper to join their team and assist in keeping their home clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Schedule and Compensation:
Desired start date: ASAP
Hours: 16 hours per week, preferably split into two 8-hour shifts on two days (flexible scheduling options available).
Gross salary range: $35+ per hour- willing to go higher for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:
– Perform thorough cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas of the house are clean and organized.
– Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, furniture, floors, and appliances, using appropriate cleaning techniques and products.
– Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
– Assist with light cooking and meal preparation.
– Keep the outdoor patio tidy and clean.
– Occasionally clean the guest house, if required.
– Collaborate with the Personal Assistant and coordinate tasks with the employers to ensure a well-organized household.
– Work in tandem with existing household staff to maintain a harmonious environment.
– Respect the family’s privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a housekeeper in a private home.
– Proficiency in utilizing green cleaning products and knowledge of cleaning various surfaces and fabrics.
– Detail-oriented and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
– Proactive and able to work independently, demonstrating initiative in identifying tasks that need attention.
– Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively.
– A calm and peaceful demeanor, promoting a positive energy within the household.
– Comfortable working around pets and providing basic care for them.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the employers and other staff members.

Note: Driving, travel, and vehicle provisions are not required for this position.
