A busy family in Bellevue, Washington is seeking a Part Time Household Assistant to assist with light cleaning, household organization, laundry, and various household projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized individual with a warm personality, who can seamlessly integrate into the family’s dynamic and assist with managing the household efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Laundry
- Light cleaning beyond the scope of the weekly cleaning service (e.g., periodic cleaning and organization of household storage areas, garage, cabinets, fridge, light dusting)
- Assist with seasonal needs (e.g., outdoor patio area sweeping, clean up and set up for winter, seasonal decorations)
- Facilitate household repair items and seasonal maintenance needs (e.g., coordinating window cleaners, roof cleaners, repair personnel)
- Occasional driving for errands, shopping, and school pick-up (as needed, with most carpooling duties handled by the employer)
- Attention to the dogs: letting them out, short walks, playtime, and refreshing their water (Two small, friendly chihuahua mixes, female, both 11 yrs old)
Position Details:
- Desired Start Date: October 1, 2023
- 2 days per week. Ideal Schedule is somewhat flexible but ideally a Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Friday schedule. Note: The cleaning team comes through on Wednesday afternoons.
- Gross Salary Range: $35-40 per hour
- Benefits: Paid vacation days and paid holidays
