A loving and active family of four, soon to be five, is seeking a dedicated Household Manager/Nanny to join their team upon their relocation to Nashville, TN on July 7th, 2024. This full-time position will involve caring for their two children, with a third on the way, as well as assisting with household tasks to ensure the family thrives. The family values integrity, family, curiosity, hard work, and kindness, and they hope to instill these values in their children.

About the Family:

The family consists of two children ages 5 (boy) and  3 (girl) with a baby boy due in October 2024. They are a loving and active family with a focus on learning, exploration, and building meaningful relationships. The children attend full-day school, so the role will primarily involve household management duties with some childcare responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include meal preparation for the children, transportation to school and activities, housekeeping duties, organization of household areas, laundry management, grocery shopping, errands, and special projects. The candidate will also engage the children in educational and recreational activities, set clear boundaries, and model appropriate behavior. Experience with infants and breastfeeding mothers is preferred, as the family values maintaining a nurturing environment for the newborn.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and passionate about working with children. They should excel in both childcare and household management tasks, with fluency in English and Spanish preferred. The candidate should be flexible, organized, and able to work independently. Previous experience with infants and breastfeeding mothers is a plus.

Living Arrangements:

The selected candidate will reside in a pool house during the rental period, with accommodations in the main house upon the family’s relocation to their permanent home in July 2025. Living quarters include a private bedroom, bathroom, separate entrance and amenities for comfort and convenience.

Benefits:

The family offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $85,000 annually, along with additional benefits such as paid sick/personal days, vacation days, and holidays aligned with their work schedule. A monthly health and wellness stipend of $350.00 will be provided, along with reimbursement for mileage or a vehicle will be provided and travel expenses.

Desired Start Date and Schedule:

The desired start date for this position is July 8, 2024. Daily hours may vary, with potential weekend availability and occasional late evenings for date nights.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
Related work experience is required along with verifiable references. Candidates may have a broad range of experience, but it MUST pertain to the position you are applying for. We require at least 2-3 verifiable references. Letters of recommendation from previous employers are preferred.
A driver’s license is required for most positions and a motor vehicle investigation is completed prior to placement.
A criminal background investigation is completed on all candidates prior to placement.
All candidates must furnish proof of US citizenship or eligibility to work as a legal alien.
Typically, candidates must be willing to commit for at least 1 year with a family. Occasionally, temporary and summer placements are requested.
