Our client, a loving and caring family relocating from Pacific Palisades to Brentwood, California, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Weekend Nanny to provide exceptional care to their 3 and 4-year-old boys. The boys are due to welcome twin siblings in November, for whom a Night Nanny has already been hired. The family has a Full-Time Private Chef to handle all cooking and a Full-Time Housekeeper for cleaning tasks. The Weekend Nanny will primarily focus on the children’s care and occasional outings with the parents. The family is looking for a Fun and Bubbly Weekend Nanny who can create a nurturing and engaging environment for their young boys.

Schedule:

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hours) 

Responsibilities:

  • Childcare: Provide exceptional care for the 3 and 4-year-old boys, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness at all times.
  • Engagement: Plan and execute age-appropriate activities, playdates, and outings to stimulate the children’s physical, intellectual, and emotional development.
  • Meal Assistance: While the Private Chef handles meals, assist with mealtime routines and ensure the children are comfortable and well-fed.
  • Maintain Routine: Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine, including nap times, activities, and bedtime, to provide structure and stability for the children.
  • Educational Support: Foster a love for learning through educational games and activities, and encouraging reading.
  • Outings: Accompany the parents on occasional outings or family activities, ensuring the children’s needs are met during these times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Nanny, preferably with multiple children or twins.
  • A warm and nurturing personality with a genuine love for children.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the day.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage the children’s schedules and activities effectively.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Reliable transportation to and from the family’s home
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with parents.
  • Respect for the family’s privacy and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
Related work experience is required along with verifiable references. Candidates may have a broad range of experience, but it MUST pertain to the position you are applying for. We require at least 2-3 verifiable references. Letters of recommendation from previous employers are preferred.
A driver’s license is required for most positions and a motor vehicle investigation is completed prior to placement.
A criminal background investigation is completed on all candidates prior to placement.
All candidates must furnish proof of US citizenship or eligibility to work as a legal alien.
Typically, candidates must be willing to commit for at least 1 year with a family. Occasionally, temporary and summer placements are requested.
