Position Overview:
Our client, a lovely family residing in the vibrant neighborhood of Tribeca, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Housekeeper to join their household. The family’s spacious and recently renovated loft spans 4,200 square feet, featuring modern design elements, wood floors, and marble bathrooms. The home exudes a welcoming and comfortable ambience. The family consists of a laid-back husband, a working wife who divides her time between home and the office, and their two children, aged 13 (boy) and 9 (girl). The previous nannies who have worked with the family have been treated like cherished members, with generous bonuses and raises. Now, since the children are older they are looking for a professional and reliable Full Time Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of their home.

Responsibilities:
– Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and tidy home environment.
– Handle laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
– Maintain organization and orderliness in various areas of the home.
– Coordinate and manage food shopping to ensure well-stocked supplies.
– Make beds and ensure bedrooms are clean and well-maintained.
– Manage dry cleaning tasks efficiently.
– Conduct a deep clean of the home on a monthly basis.
– Collaborate with the family’s other household staff to complete tasks effectively.
– Occasionally assist with serving dinner.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a housekeeper for high-net-worth families in NYC, ideally for multiple years.
– Excellent cleaning and organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
– Strong references attesting to reliability and competence.
– Ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach to tasks.
– Positive attitude and a team mentality, willing to be flexible as needed.
– Covid vaccination is required.
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred but not mandatory).

Salary and Benefits
– The salary for this position is $35 per hour
– Health and wellness stipend of $300 per month.
– Two weeks of paid vacation annually, to be scheduled mutually.
– Five paid sick/personal days.
– 401K retirement plan.
