Hours: Flexible, averaging 35-40 hours/week

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic individual to work as a Household/Business Manager for our client. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent college graduates with 1-3 years of experience to gain valuable experience in education, management, and business operations. The role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including managing household tasks related to the children, overseeing property management systems, and coordinating with external professionals to support the family’s business and investment affairs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Education Support:
    • High-level organization of the children’s homework, educational goals, and chores. (ages 10, 12, 14, 16)
    • Provide support and motivation to ensure the children meet their educational milestones.
    • Assist in managing the children’s activity schedules and driving carpool several times a week.
  2. Property Management:
    • Oversee all property management systems for the family’s principal residence, including a ¾-acre estate with a pool and separate structures.
    • Coordinate with property management companies for three out-of-town properties.
    • Ensure efficient operation of mechanical and business systems within the properties.
  3. Business Coordination:
    • Manage, track, and organize communications with financial services, real estate, and legal professionals.
    • Assist in coordinating business and accounting-related tasks for the family’s business and investment affairs.
    • Maintain accurate records and documents related to property ownership and business transactions.
  4. Family Schedule Coordination:
    • Coordinate family schedules and planning goals to ensure smooth operation of daily activities.
    • Liaise with external parties to schedule appointments, meetings, and events as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with property management systems and basic business forms.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
Related work experience is required along with verifiable references. Candidates may have a broad range of experience, but it MUST pertain to the position you are applying for. We require at least 2-3 verifiable references. Letters of recommendation from previous employers are preferred.
A driver’s license is required for most positions and a motor vehicle investigation is completed prior to placement.
A criminal background investigation is completed on all candidates prior to placement.
All candidates must furnish proof of US citizenship or eligibility to work as a legal alien.
Typically, candidates must be willing to commit for at least 1 year with a family. Occasionally, temporary and summer placements are requested.
