Clients residing in a spacious Belle Meade home in Nashville are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Assistant to provide comprehensive support to their three children, ages 8, 6 and 2.5 years old, while also assisting with various household tasks. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for caring for children and maintaining a well-organized household.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide child care and supervision for three children, including preparing lunches and dinners.
  • Maintain children’s rooms and playroom in an organized and tidy condition.
  • Assist with laundry and ironing.
  • Occasional grocery shopping and running errands.
  • Drive the children to classes and other activities.
  • Assist with household organization tasks.
  • Be flexible in daily duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as both a nanny and family assistant.
  • Energetic, punctual, and organized.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Availability for weekday evenings and occasional overnights/weekend stays.

  • Hours Per Day/Days Per Week: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Between 8:00am – 5:00pm with flexibility.
  • Gross Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year with industry standard benefits.
  • Mileage reimbursement for driving duties.
  • Potential travel with the family on trips.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
Related work experience is required along with verifiable references. Candidates may have a broad range of experience, but it MUST pertain to the position you are applying for. We require at least 2-3 verifiable references. Letters of recommendation from previous employers are preferred.
A driver’s license is required for most positions and a motor vehicle investigation is completed prior to placement.
A criminal background investigation is completed on all candidates prior to placement.
All candidates must furnish proof of US citizenship or eligibility to work as a legal alien.
Typically, candidates must be willing to commit for at least 1 year with a family. Occasionally, temporary and summer placements are requested.
